The Omega Genève became one of the brand's most successful collections during the late 1960s, offering dependable Swiss engineering in a clean, understated design. This reference 136.041 is an excellent example of that philosophy, combining timeless styling with one of Omega's most respected manually wound movements.

The silver sunburst dial is beautifully balanced, with its finely brushed finish reflecting the light to create subtle depth and character. Applied baton hour markers and slim hands maintain the minimalist aesthetic that defines the Genève collection, while the neatly integrated date aperture at 3 o'clock provides everyday practicality without interrupting the symmetry of the dial.

Powering the watch is the Omega Calibre 613, a manually wound movement renowned for its reliability, ease of servicing and desirable quick-set date mechanism—a feature rarely found on manual wind watches from this period. This example has been fully serviced and is running well at the point of inspection, ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

The stainless steel case retains its crisp lines and distinctive late-1960s profile, with honest signs of age that reflect careful ownership over the decades. Finished on a quality brown leather strap, this Genève wears comfortably on the wrist and remains as versatile today as when it first left the Omega factory.

At Vintage Watch HQ, we selected this example for its clean silver dial, sharp stainless steel case and recently serviced Calibre 613 movement. It is a wonderfully honest vintage Omega that perfectly captures the understated elegance and everyday practicality of the Genève collection.
